Intended Use
The Beckman Coulter OSR6006 α-Amylase Reagent is intended for the quantitative determination of α-amylase activity in human serum, plasma, or urine using Beckman Coulter AU-series clinical chemistry analyzers.
Measurement of α-amylase activity aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of pancreatic diseases, such as acute and chronic pancreatitis, and in the assessment of salivary gland disorders and other conditions associated with abnormal amylase levels.
This assay is for in vitro diagnostic use only (IVD).
